About Seek
Seek is an AI object identifier for iPhone and Android. Point your camera at an object and the app suggests a name, a category, and a confidence score. The tagline says it simply: know what you see.
Why Seek exists
Everyone has held something they could not name: a tool from an old toolbox, a part that fell off a machine, a cable with a strange plug, a gadget from a kitchen drawer. You cannot search for a thing when you do not know what it is called. Seek starts with the photo instead of the word.
What you can do after the name
Most identifier apps stop at the name. Seek goes one step further, so the name becomes something you can use.
- Ask Seek — ask follow-up questions about the object you scanned, by text or by voice. For example: what does it do, and how do I use it?
- Find It — look for where to buy it, the user manual, spare parts, repair guides, and similar items.
- Collections and history — save your discoveries and come back to them later.
The guides show this step by step, for example how to identify a tool by photo, find a spare part from a photo, or find a user manual from a photo.
What Seek is honest about
- A result can be wrong. The confidence score shows how sure Seek is, and an exact brand or model is not guaranteed.
- A scan photo is sent to Seek’s servers to be identified. See the privacy policy.
- Seek does not give valuations or appraisals.
- Seek is free on the App Store and Google Play. Seek Pro is not available yet.
